With over 25 years experience in property maintenance and the building trade, I have the knowledge to resolve many problems without the cost of expensive contractors, ensuring the rental prices are competitive value for money. I started Selective Group as a Private Landlord as I believe that tenants do not get value for money or the services they deserve. My aim is to exceed the expectations of our tenants!
Partner and Accounts Manager: Wendy Whistler
Bringing many years of accounting experience with her, Wendy is an integral part of the team, and works closely with Chris and Nicole to ensure that the tenant’s needs are met.
Property Manager: Nicole Mullee
Nicole joined Selective Group in July 2009 coming from 17 years of working in the banking industry. Using her attributes from her previous job, Nicole manages the tenant’s and properties in a professional manner with a caring attitude.
Code of Practice
National Landlords Association (NLA)
We are members of the National Landlords association and as such we conform to their code of practice, a copy of which can be supplied on request or found on the NLA website: www.landlords.org.uk. The tenancy agreement that we use is produced by the NLA
NLA Tenant Check
Selective Group uses an independent reference service with the NLA. Application forms received by prospective tenants will be that of NLA Tenant Check. Full details of NLA Tenant Check can be supplied on request or found at www.nlatenantcheck.org.uk
Under legislation that came into effect on 6th April 2007, all landlords taking deposits on assured short hold tenancies must join a government-authorised tenancy deposit scheme. Selective Group is a member of the insurance-based tenancy deposit protection scheme with ‘MyDeposits’. Deposits are held by us and are lodged with and protected by the scheme within 14 days of being received. A certificate is issued to both landlord and tenant.
